Great solution for video conference fill lighting
My home office is backlit, and I can't change the configuration of my desk to fix it. These lights provide an easy solution. The first image shows regular lighting, the second shows the lights with the white gel filter (it was way too bright on my eyes to be usable), and the third is the same gel filter plus a sheet of velum paper propped about 6 inches front of the light (see the last photo). I have the lights on my desktop on either side of my monitor and it provides great fill light. The lights and stand are lightweight, and perfectly sturdy for desktop use. I have had them on for about 30 minutes now - they are warm but not excessively hot. I am very happy with this purchase!

Smart buy for lights. Great for videos and good for the wallet
I just got these lights today. If I'm not mistaken I paid 35 or $36 for them. Which makes him roughly $15 and some cents each. I will say that they are a lot better than I thought they were going to be. The light is very bright but I don't think these lights are meant to be the only lights you use when you are recording a video. In my opinion these lights are more for video than they are for picture. The lights can be harsh but if they are well balanced and you have some distance from your face they should be fine. I own a ring light and I plan on using these as the side lights for my videos. They will definitely do the job and they don't get overly hot very quickly. The downside of this is the legs that are supposed to be into the handled part of the light is a little cheap but they do support the light and I'm also having an issue with trying to get the legs back into the handle part of the light. I'm not going to complain because these are very good for an affordable price. These lights do not have a dimmer so be mindful of that. The shipping and handling was great nothing was broken or misplaced. These lights are great beginners for people who are doing videos. They're affordable and I do believe with great care they will last a long time.

A few small quibbles - the legs are metal - might scratch some surfaces - you may want to put something under them. They are nice and bright, compact. Clear diffuser and amber filter/diffuser comes in package. One of mine failed to come with an amber filter - a quick message to the company and they sent me an entire replacement unit no questions asked. Very good customer service.

Great for close studio photos
I shoot jewelry and these lights make my shot so easy. I move the lights around to get the best sparkle. On one, the tripod does not extend out, the other, won't close. I have 4 lights- they're great, hand-held, or propped up with clamps. Love them anyway.

Bright little lights!
I bought these to use when recording videos while streaming and such, and they are bright! The clear panel that comes with it is super bright, blinding even. I use the amber screen instead and it's still very bright but tolerable to put in front of you so your face is properly lit. They get a little hot but not terribly so, and it's a nice little switch you push on the cord for on and off. The metal tripod legs extend out the bottom of the handle which is attached to bottom of them. Great purchase!

Lightweight, versatile, very bright
I wanted something super versatile to easily move from location to location to add fill light, or for when doing zoom or Skype meetings. They are super light, made of plastic and metal silver feet. The feet slide back into the stem for travel. They also have a secondary feet which can be extended if needed. ( I never have) The only problem was sliding the feet back into the stem sometimes the secondary foot isn't all the way in and the legs won't go in. Once I discovered this I have never had a problem. Legs shouldn't be forced back in but lightly jiggled making sure the secondary feet are all completely packed away. The 2 filters softer white and orange for daylight are super easy to switch out. Very happy with them so far. Totally worth the purchase.

Hopefully you are reading the reviews before purchasing. I just saw the large amount of reviews with a high star rating, and didn't actually read the reviews. The lights are "extremely bright" as listed in the key words. Extremely bright is one way to put it, but I'd say they are WICKED bright. I mean, you will need to diffuse these bad boys if you actually plan on using them. We're talking BLINDING bright! As for the build quality, mine seem fine. The base could use a little more weight to offset the weight of the light. Because they are so bright, we're going to reflect them off the ceiling, and the weight of the light hanging back to point at the ceiling will tip them over if you don't have something heavy on the base to hold them up. They are really light, so can easily be clamped to a stand.

That's *bright*!
Dear lord, these little lights are bright! I got them for a friend's Zoom teaching setup, and they were actually too bright for that. (I ended up bouncing the light from one of these off the nearby wal , for online teaching environment.) I did not expect the professional strength lights, especially for this price range. Clean, even light, easy to use and pack away. I'm adding one to my professional photography light kit, it'll make a great fill light, or even main light for product photography.

Very Bright!
I was worried that these wouldn't be that bright but I was really surprised how bright they actually are. For the price, it works well. It's not the best quality but it works just as advertised, and the price is right. Great for a light box product photos for someone just starting out who doesn't want to spend a lot.
