Đầu tiên, đãi sạch đậu đen và đậu đỏ, nhặt bỏ những hạt lép, ngâm với nước khoảng 1 giờ hoặc qua đêm. Cho đậu đen, đậu đỏ vào nồi, nấu nhừ.
Vớt đậu đen, đậu đỏ ra, cho vào nồi khác cùng 100gr đường trắng, đảo đều.
Nha đam gọt sạch phần vỏ xanh, cắt miếng nhỏ. Ngâm nha đam với nước pha 1/2 muỗng cà phê muối cho bớt đắng, rửa sạch lại với nước 2-3 lần.
Trộn đều nha đam với 50gr đường trắng còn lại. Bắc nồi đậu đen, đậu đỏ lên bếp, cho hỗn hợp nha đam vào, nấu sôi.
