A Must Read for People in Tough Job Situations
This book is AMAZING! I am a school teacher and I just changed schools; I initially thought this school move would be great, but I've run into issues with an unsupportive administration and negative colleagues. A friend recommended this book and it seems to be speaking right to me. Even if you don't follow the teachings of TD Jakes, you will be able to get so much wisdom and practical advice from this book if you work in a tough job situation. Reading this book has helped me to have more peace and patience about the negative things I've encountered while at work.
Helped me out of a dark place
This is a must read for anyone who works somewhere that they hate. My coworkers made me so unhappy that I seriously dreaded going to work. This book helped me enjoy my job again and deal with my situation instead of letting everything get to me. It's more of a guide than an overly religious book. It truly helped me out of a dark place. I highly recommend it and I am NOT a TDJakes fan at all.
Motivational literature
I read this book and thought it would be a great motivational tool to support Supervisors. I hand out this book to those seeking a way to become better leaders. TDJAKES words are a blessing to all.
Awesome, Incredible Book
I was about to QUIT my job. This book was recommended and it has helped me to refocus and be at peace in a hostile work environment. Unbelievable peace has been experienced since reading this book. While everyone runs around upset, I am able to walk through the environment with a smile on my face. Awesome, incredible book that has gotten me through some horrible days. The environment didn't change; I changed my prospective. I've referred the book to others and they've had the same reaction. For anyone who is going into the workplace or in the workplace, this is a must read! First time, read it as quickly as possible to get it in your spirit quickly. Read it the second time slowly. Praise the Lord for T.D. Jakes writing this book. I purchased this copy for someone else. The first copy was for me!
Amazing insight
TDJakes has an amazing way to put the principles of Gods Word into practical experiences in our daily work life. I had never thought of my work as being anointed from God. I needed this book, and it delivered above and beyond my expectations. So much so, Im going to reread it in its entirety. God bless you TDJakes as much as you have blessed me with your wisdom. A must read for all.

Whether you are actually in a hostile environment or may want to re-focus on what you're true calling should be in the workplace, this book will grab your attention as well as lead you through opportunities to excel and give glory to God. This book can be just as motivational in the secular world as well as in the spiritual because most of the teachings are based on a common sense approach to everyday office challenges. It's always easier to see the glass half full than to dwell on the fact that it might be half empty and Bishop Jakes takes the high road approach to working through troublesome coworkers and bosses. You'll find yourself reminiscing on past encounters with other-than-friendly coworkers and think about how you could have handled the situation better knowing some of the methods that Bishop Jakes teaches in this book.
Love this Book
I saw the DVD version to this book first; and then i came and realised there was a book version to it. I opted to get the book, so i would always have a handy reference to the same tools and principles taught in the dvd. It has forever changed my perspective on my job place and i wish that i had read this book years ago; there would've been many mistakes i wouldve avoided. But I intend to teach my children, what i know now, and when they are ready to go into the workplace, they would be more prepared than i was. Thank you Bishop TD Jakes, for such an inspiring and life altering book

A Must Read for People in Thankless Jobs!
This book was so awesome that I bought extras to pass along to friends. If you have ever felt that your job was thankless and you were unappreciated - read this book and you will see things differently. It impacted my life and attitude so much that the change was obvious to my peers! My miserable co-workers wanted to hang around with me and be UPBEAT, too! This book taught me how to avoid the toxicity rampant in the workplace and the world! I wish I could attend services with T.D. Jakes; he is very "real" in this unreal world!
