starsWorks well!
Works great, just as expected. Several people have commented on the chimes, which are excessive, but there is one that is your standard "ding dong" and that works great. One is all you really need. We had to place the sensors a bit apart due to the construction of our door frame, but it still works just as well.

Great for escaping toddlers
My toddler started unlocking and opening doors. She got outside twice on her own and something had to be done to go give me peace of mind. We use the siren sound and my daughter hasn't tried to escape once since she heard the alarm. I can sleep more soundly knowing my kid isn't getting outside without me.

Works fantastic on my small gate
Wow, it's only been a month but I love this thing. I placed it on an outdoor gate so that it chimes whenever someone is approaching the front door. It allows me to open the door before they even have a chance to ring the doorbell. So far, distance and reliability have been flawless and I've placed it anywhere from 30ft to about 150ft away with multiple walls and it hasn't interrupted the signal. I'll take photos later. Very happy.

Ladies in Church Office are happy
Installed this Monday, checked with the office yesterday, and all the ladies are happy with the "announcing of anyone coming in the door". The door is about 100 feet from the office and welcome center, and sometimes there isn't a person at the welcome center (taking care of other office activity), so they really wanted a unit that would announce anyone coming in. They like the convenience, the sound (and the choices of sound), and the functionality (as well as the security issue). When everyone is happy, looks like it's a winner.

ONE THAT WORKS
IT WORKS! It really works. I have tried several brands and designs in my METAL office building. This one works through the metal sides of the walls and you can change the tone. So, I dont hear the same thing forever and get tired of it. It warns me of customers coming in the front door when I have had to got to the back like I do MANY times of the day. FINALLY one that works. Would highly recommend.

Why did I wait so long?
This door alert more than exceeded my expectations. It was perfect for my application. My office is in the far end from the entry door with walls and corners. I was concerned about getting something with enough range to go from the front door to the chime. I placed the device about 50 ft from the front door. I was able to get the tone from the chime. There are 52 chimes to select from. Some are short instrumentals. I was tempted to use a song, but thought I’d get tired of it. This was very easy to install and get working. I had gone too long before getting this, but glad I did. If my situation is like yours, this will do the job.

This product is a lifesaver!!
My classroom is in an old locker room, and my students can come in the front area and "hide" there without my knowing about it. My husband installed this doorbell for me, and it took care of the problem. No more sneaking in...I am alerted every time my door is opened. Whether it is a student coming for a class, or a principal coming to do an evaluation, I have at least a couple of seconds notice that someone is approaching!! It is a lifesaver.
