Support rate for Trump to the lowest of the term

President Donald Trump is set to end his term with the lowest rating in four years, according to a survey from CNN.

Specifically, 33% of respondents said they have a positive view of President Trump, while 64% said no.

54% of the participants said that Trump should be forced out of office before the end of his term on January 20, due to his role in the January 6 Capitol Hill riots.

Polarization between the two parties was maintained compared to the first impeachment session.

Overall, only 34% of Americans supported Trump's actions and decisions during the presidency, down 9 percentage points from 42% in a survey conducted before election day.

Within Republicans, support for Trump has also dropped 14 percentage points since October 2020 but has remained steadily around 80%.

Judging President Trump's tenure, 55% of respondents said he had failed, 41% said he was successful.

The rating of Trump having a successful term was significantly lower than the 60% public support for former President Barack Obama when he left office in 2017.

Economic decisions are still the point where Trump is highly regarded in the public eye.
